Lead software engineer at Cloud ClinIQ, a cloud-based patient management system that brings patient records, scheduling, payments and AI-assisted notes together in one secure platform for clinics. I build the full stack with Django REST and Vue 3, the customer-facing data API in Kotlin Ktor, and run the AWS infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD.
An ongoing build of a lean, cost-efficient data platform. Dagster orchestrates every step and Azure provides storage and compute. DuckDB does all the heavy lifting: every transformation, plus historisation, slowly changing dimensions, a current layer, and the data model that loads straight into Power BI.
Part of the data platform (DevOps) team, responsible for the technical frameworks used to ingest, transform and expose data in the lakehouse. Took the lead in bringing ML models to production, designed and implemented the DevOps and CI/CD processes, and shipped a Databricks sandbox environment for data scientists.
Development and deployment of machine learning algorithms to reduce tax fraud, with an additional role as solution architect providing consultation on machine learning solutions and data modelling.
I love creating pixel art (even though I am not good yet!). I wish to launch a pixel art game of my own, called "The tower of Terror". Here is one of my animated sprites!
5km, 10km, half marathon and full marathon. The most beautiful race I have completed was a temple half marathon in Karuizawa in Japan! Afterwards taking a soak at the local hotspring/onsen was pure bliss
I love food and cooking for friends, especially Asian food!
When I am completely fed up with programming languages, I like to learn natural ones :)
Code is not the only language I speak. Picking up new ones is one of my favourite ways to get to know people and places.
